Under construction on Eastdale Avenue in the growing East York community are two new residential buildings. The 35-storey and 7-storey builds are to contain a total of 484 purpose-built rental units, reserving over 40% for family-oriented 2 and 3 bedroom layouts. With over 900 square metres of indoor and 1000 square metres of outdoor amenities, new and existing residents can enjoy a new outdoor play area, gym facilities, and more.
100 Eastdale Avenue, the 35-storey residential building adjacent to the existing 24-storey apartment building, will offer 404 purpose-built rental units.
Additionally, a change to the existing Eastdale Parkette has been proposed, where the new location (at the northwest corner of Eastdale and Secord) will see the space expanded to 2,100 square metres once it’s rebuilt. Two Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Spaces (POPS) have also been proposed in this area, increasing the landscaped area throughout the site, and providing additional green-space to the neighbourhood.
